Free-going sort who tasted success 4 times on Flat/over hurdles during 2025. Returned to action following a breathing operation with a good second at Ripon in June but not scaled same heights in 2 starts since, doing plenty in front when fourth in handicap at Thirsk (1½m) 12 days ago.

Hasn't been the easiest to catch right and was left poorly placed having been slowly into stride when fifth behind a couple of these in handicap at Beverley (1¼m) 8 days ago. Did revert to showing an awkward side under pressure then and others appeal more.

Still looking for a first victory but positive start for this stable when runner-up at Beverley (8.5f) in April. Excuses in 2 runs since, leaving the impression he should have finished closer when seventh at Newcastle 6 weeks ago. Blinkers go back on and claims for all slow starts are a concern.

Won back-to-back Beverley handicaps (at 8.5f) and dispelled a lesser effort over 1m here when fifth of 8 in handicap at Redcar (9f) 17 days ago, fading from 2f out. Still, others more appealing for win purposes.

Sole success came from 4 lb higher over this trip at Beverley last summer. However, disappointed on 4 of his 5 starts so far this season, proving far too keen for his own good when well held last of 9 at Southwell (1½m) 2 weeks ago. Return to shorter a likely plus but more required.
