All the sharper for his reappearance in the Spring Mile at Doncaster when getting up close home to deny stablemate On The River at Ripon (1m) in April. Ran no sort of race at Redcar a couple of months later, though.

A 5-time winner on turf, registering latest success at Yarmouth (11.5f, soft) in June. Sold out of Ross Burdon's stable for 19,000 gns after that. Well held in 13f Hamilton handicap on recent yard debut. Drops significantly in trip now.

Back to winning ways at Pontefract in April. Best effort since when fifth of 18 in Golden Mile at Goodwood (1m, good to firm) last week. Runs off 2 lb lower here so a player in this lower grade.

Just the one creditable effort to his name this year from 4 starts and remains 2 lb above the mark he defied over 7f here on good to soft last year.

Useful for Ger Lyons in Ireland last year but hasn't offered much in 4 starts for current yard. His mark is in freefall as a result but could only consider if backed in refitted cheekpieces.
