Turned in best effort of the season with blinkers refitted when length third of 14 to Luimneach at Kilbeggan last time. 2 lb higher here but capable of being involved if on a similar going day.

Second to subsequent winner Ladies Well on return reads positively in the context of this race. Not as good back hurdling since but wasn’t disgraced despite failing to justify support behind Luna Run at Fontwell last time. One to consider back over fences in first-time blinkers.

On a losing run stretching back 14 outings and turned in best effort of the season when third of 13 to Farrokh in handicap at Wexford in July. Failed to back that up next time and last effort easily excused. Others preferred.

Long-standing maiden who posted best effort for some time when second at Downpatrick in June. Not in the same form next 2 starts, though was keeping on in fourth (albeit unlikely to trouble the first 2) when falling 2 out at Killarney last month. Others still preferred.

In frame on 3 of last 4 starts over hurdles, shaping as if still in good form despite inadequate test when 10¾ lengths fourth of 14 to Costanuci in handicap at Listowel on latest. Not an obvious chaser on pedigree.

Poor maiden hurdler who showed much improved form when winning 23f handicap chase at Ballinrobe 19 days ago by 20 lengths from Mistyburn. Up 13 lb and profile is patchy, but he's likely to be very hard to beat if turning in a performance of a similar ilk here.

Landed 3m Wexford handicap hurdle in July and took a step forward from previous chasing starts when 4¾ lengths second of 13 to Fr Gilligansvoyge (winner again since) at Tramore following month. Needs to bounce back from a poor run last time, but would have place claims if doing so.

Scored over hurdles at Kilbeggan in June. Creditable fourth of 14 in handicap chase at same course (2½m, good) in July but met trouble when below that form at Roscommon last time.

Clonmel hurdle winner who finished placed on 2 of his 3 starts over fences last summer but has been out of sorts in both spheres this season.

Inconsistent performer who took advantage of reduced mark when landing handicap hurdle at this track last month. Below form since and isn't easy to catch right but returns to chasing having slipped back down to last winning mark. Claims if able to keep jumping errors to a minimum.

Landed a gamble in maiden hurdle at Downpatrick last summer. Has yet to hit the same heights in 3 starts over fences, though left plenty to do when mid-division behind Driveonwill back at that course on latest. Very much one to note should the market speak in his favour.

Low-mileage maiden who has finished runner-up on a couple of occasions over hurdles but didn't take to chasing at the first attempt at Ballinrobe last time and has plenty to prove now.

Hasn't shown a great deal over hurdles or 3 starts over fences.

Placed once from 8 starts over hurdles, though it did at least come at this course. Doesn't appeal as an obvious chasing type.
