Failed to meet expectations on debut last summer but has proved a different proposition since, improving a chunk when winning at Lingfield in December. Off since but likely has more to come this year.

Steadily progressive course winner last year. Got back to winning ways on last 2 starts at Pontefract and York just 4 days apart in June, with a career best in first-time cheekpieces for the latter under a penalty. Needs another career best after a 6 lb rise in the weights.

Successful twice last season. Shaped as if retaining ability on both outings this season, fourth of 11 in handicap at Chester (10.3f, good to firm, 10/3) when last seen in May. Makes tapeta debut and has each-way claims.

Has returned better than ever, justifying good support at Doncaster in March before following up despite doing plenty wrong round here the following month. Made the frame twice from 3 starts since, latest when fourth at Ripon (1m, good) 19 days ago. Got to prove stamina now significantly up in trip.

Won 3 times in 2025, ending firmly on the up with a gutsy success in 9-runner handicap at Leicester (1½m) in October. Returned with a fine second at Goodwood in May before finding softer conditions too much at Epsom just 2 weeks later. Has to be on the shortlist switched to the all-weather.

Ended 2025 with a York success and proved better than ever when winning at Chester on return. Below form next 2 starts and more is required now making all-weather debut.

Course winner who's tasted success twice this season, including capitalising on a falling mark at Chester in July. Found it tougher in competitive Goodwood handicap (1¼m, good to firm, 50/1) last week. Blinkers go back on.

Made the frame at Carlisle and York in early-summer. Found the John Smith's Cup at latter course too competitive last month before finishing fourth of 7 at Ripon (1½m, good) just a week later. Place claims at best.

Doubled his tally on first start for new yard at Meydan (1½m, good) in January having left Roger Varian. Disappointed on next 2 starts but got back on track when sixth of 9 in handicap at Ascot (1½m, good to firm) 13 days ago. Needs to back that up with the hood left off.

Lightly raced 4-y-o who clearly derived plenty from his York reappearance when posting a good second at Newcastle in June, doing well to get amongst those who sat at the head of affairs. Needs to bounce back from a couple of below-par efforts on the turf.

Last success came in the Cambridgeshire in autumn 2023. Had been off the best part of 2 years (also had a breathing operation) prior to seasonal reappearance and it remains to be seen just how much ability he retains.
