Very smart gelding. Snapped a losing run with 2 victories this year, in listed race at Haydock in May and Group 2 Lennox at Goodwood in July. Gained valuable experience of US turf racing when 2¼ lengths second to Rhetorical in Turf Mile over C&D 4 weeks ago, repeatedly denied a run. One to consider.

Smart horse with an impressive strike rate. Tasted success 4 times in Grade 1 company, winning both runnings of the Manhattan and Fourstardave last year and this. Had no answer to Notable Speech despite setting the pace in the Woodbine Mile last time. Looks to be playing for a place at best.

Another who seems best when leading, gaining both successes from the front this season in the Turf Classic at Churchill Downs in May and C&D Turf Mile earlier this month. Unlikely to get things his own way this time.

Dual Group 1-winning juvenile. Made the frame twice this year, latest when neck third of 8 to reopposing stablemate True Love in Prix de la Foret at Longchamp last time. Draw doesn't help but he's the choice of Ryan Moore.

Long-priced winner of the Sussex at Goodwood last year and then finished well down the field in last year's running of this at Del Mar. Has largely given his running this season, scoring in Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp last time. Seems best when allowed a lead.

Won 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May and wasn't completely disgraced in defeat after before scoring at Longchamp in the Prix de la Foret on Arc weekend. Overlooked by Ryan Moore for this assignment.

Impressive when scoring in Grade 2 Nassau at Woodbine and nudged her form up further when 1¼ lengths fourth behind Classic Q in First Lady over C&D earlier in the month. Stiff task.

Globetrotter who failed to add to his 2024 Dubai Turf success for J. Reynier but opened his North American account at the first time of asking in 9-runner allowance at this course earlier in the month. Doesn't look the force of old.

Has had another light campaign and looked to be as good as ever when second in Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan in March. However, he's failed to match that both starts since and can be passed over here going beyond 7f for the first time since his debut.

Consistent West Coast-trained raider who belied his advancing years when winning 5-runner Grade 2 City of Hope Mile at Santa Anita by head from El Potente last month. Needs a career best to be involved.

Chased home Notable Speech in last year's Mile at Del Mar and went one better on return in the Shoemaker at Santa Anita in May. Comes into this off a below-par effort in Grade 3 at Kentucky Downs in September but no surprise to see him bounce back.

Promising 3-y-o colt who won first 2 starts, namely maiden at Tokyo in February and Group 3 Churchill Downs Cup at Hanshin in April. Beaten a nose by Rodeo Drive in NHK Mile Cup back at Tokyo when last seen in May. He's an unknown quantity.
