Showed much improved form to get off the mark in straightforward fashion by 1¾ lengths from Crystal Dark in 7-runner novice at Newcastle (7f, 9/2) 20 days ago. A well-bred sort who is open to further improvement.

Dubawi colt. Looked potentially useful when making a winning start at Doncaster (7f) in July before finding a Group 3 at Deauville too much at this stage of his development. Sets the standard and should find this an easier assignment.

Green both starts to date, plugging on after going in snatches when fifth of 8 in maiden at Chester (7f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Needs this run for a handicap mark.

Foaled January 29. €82,000 foal, Sea The Moon colt. Brother to Scandinavian winner up to 1½m Nouvelle Lune and German 1m winner New York City, both useful. Dam 2-y-o 6.5f/7f winner. Yard's debutants are always worth a market check.

Havana Grey colt. 40/1, very green when fifth of 6 in maiden at Ffos Las (7.4f, good to firm) on debut last month. Unlikely to make much appeal this side of handicaps.

Foaled March 30. 170,000 gns yearling, 115,000 gns 2-y-o, St Mark's Basilica colt. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Wide Margin. Dam winner up to 8.3f (2-y-o 7f winner). Makes appeal on paper and is one to note in the betting.

Foaled March 24. £50,000 yearling, Bayside Boy colt. Half-brother to useful 6f winner Bonus Time. Dam multiple 6f winner out of half-sister to useful 1¼m winner (stayed 1½m) Design Perfection. Any positive market moves should be noted.
