Speedily-bred sort who showed fair form as a juvenile. Had been given some help from the handicapper but still caused a surprise when successful on first try over 1¼m here 7 days ago. Needs more again to follow up over further still, though she is already outstaying her pedigree.

Improved when runner-up at Roscommon on handicap debut in May. Best effort since when ½-length second at Down Royal last time, responding well to first-time cheekpieces/an attacking ride. Could be dangerous if able to get to the lead from stall 14.

Hit the frame on her previous 4 Flat starts, latterly beaten 3½ lengths in a higher grade at Gowran in April. Arrives on the back of a career-best success over hurdles at Kilbeggan (19f) and looks potentially interesting on all-weather bow.

Runner-up to one landing a gamble in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Form has regressed for John McConnell this year, however, that's reflected in his mark. Not discounted if switch back to previous stable sparks a revival, for all he's drawn wider than ideal.

Produced best effort to date when second in a better race at Gowran in August. Still in good form when 5¾ lengths fourth of 13 at Down Royal last time, unable to sustain a big move under her usual 7-lb apprentice. The booking of Colin Keane may well see her get off the mark for current yard.

Lightly-raced 3-y-o filly who has made a positive start in handicaps. Shaped as if well worth a go over this trip when 2¾-length second to an improver in a big-field Navan handicap (1¼m) latest. Still relatively unexposed and makes appeal on first all-weather outing.

Relatively lightly-raced 3-y-o. Hit the frame both previous starts in this grade. Shaped as if still in good form when slowly away/denied a clear run over longer trip at Navan (1¾m) last time. Ought to at least be competitive if translating his form to the all-weather.

Third behind Vervain on reappearance at Gowran. Not in same form at Navan subsequently, though potentially well treated off 3 lb lower all-weather mark here. RESERVE

Long-standing maiden who'd look well treated if recapturing last winter's course form. Still operating below her best when 9¼ lengths fifth here (10.5f) latest. The second/third have won since, though, and she does benefit from a handy draw this time.

Hasn't gone on since her handicap debut third at Gowran in June, faring no better for the addition of more severe headgear at Clonmel (1¼m, good) 9 days ago.

Maiden in both codes. Ran creditably when beaten 8 lengths in this grade on return to the Flat at Navan (1¾m) latest. Type to benefit from first-time cheekpieces. RESERVE

Fairly useful chase winner for Gavin Cromwell last summer. Only beaten one rival home in a couple of starts for current yard following an absence, for all he may have still needed the run at Navan (1¾m) latest. Makes all-weather bow here.

€400,000 son of Wootton Bassett. Fared no better on all-weather bow here (10.5f) last time. Cheekpieces added for step back up in trip and foolish to totally discount given his pedigree/connections. RESERVE

Low-mileage 4-y-o hasn't improved for the switch to handicaps. Hard to be confident back up in trip on all-weather debut.
