Free-going sort who registered sixth course victory of the year when successful over C&D in May. Straight back on track returned to the all-weather last time, finishing 2 lengths second in 5f handicap here. Needs considering in a slightly easier event, though the draw hasn't been kind.

Solid start for new yard with in-frame finishes in sprint handicaps. Seemingly didn't benefit for cheekpieces at Bath (carried head awkwardly) prior to overcoming long odds to get off the mark at Windsor last time. Hit with a 7-lb rise for that improved effort and in a better race here.

A 4-time course winner. Shaped better than the bare result when beaten 4¾ lengths here in late-June. Strongly run 6f could suit (all wins over 7f this year). Drawn wider than ideal on return from 12 weeks away.

Nearly recorded a third career success in a better race at Lingfield before chasing home a subsequent winner there earlier this month. Now drops back down in grade having been beaten 2¾ lengths under a typically aggressive ride last time. Leading claims, for all there looks plenty of pace on here.

Lightly-raced 3-y-o. Matched the form she showed on debut for Clive Cox when 2¼-length second in Kempton novice on stable debut 7 days ago. Still early days but needs more switched to a handicap.

Hold-up performer who has blown hot and cold since ending a long losing run over C&D in April. Likely strong pace will suit here, and she's capable of running a big race if getting the breaks from an inside draw.

Enjoyed a fine run of form in 3-y-o handicaps in the first half of this year. Back on his latest winning mark after blowing the start at Lingfield last time. Return of usual hood could help, though does have more on his plate from stall 12 on first start in open company.

Scored under the returning Marco Ghiani (1-1) at Windsor in June. Shaped well in defeat at Lingfield before refusing to race for the second time this season at Windsor latest. Connections presumably feel he's still well treated (often strong in betting) but remains a risky betting proposition.

Didn't fire in either start for Heather Main this summer. On a potentially handy mark if revitalised by a change of headgear/stables, now 1 lb lower than when successful in a similar event here (7f) in December.

Back on song after a gelding operation when runner-up at Newcastle/Hamilton in the spring. Subsequently underlined his inconsistency for Richard & Peter Fahey yard. Now returns for new stable following 11 weeks away and this could be the time to catch him.

Gone wrong way since winning 6f all-weather maiden at Lingfield last September (seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train). Fared no better for first-time tongue strap at Ffos Las (5f) and hard to be confident she can capitalise on a falling mark.
