Smart performer at best for Andrew Balding. Has proved that he retains plenty of ability in handicaps for current yard this season, though ran a lesser race at Goodwood 18 days ago. However, he now drops in grade so he's interesting with cheekpieces back on and conditions to suit.

Took his form up a notch when winning at Sandown (7f) last summer but has yet to match that level this season, running respectably fitted with cheekpieces when fourth of 8 at Sandown 19 days ago. Drops back to 6f for first time since debut.
