Made frame in 2 of 3 point starts. Justified support in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (19f, heavy) in March. Resumed progress when 3¼-length third on return here (19f, 20/1) on Wednesday. Lightly-raced 5-y-o is worth noting if turned out quickly for his chasing debut. RESERVE

Hit and miss since justifying support on chasing debut over C&D this time last year. Back to her fairly useful best when runner-up in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f) latest. Could prove well treated if translating that form to fences.

Surprise winner on Rules debut in maiden hunter at Down Royal last spring. Back on song for fitting of cheekpieces last month, finishing 2¼-length third (Gaelic Des Chastys in fourth when unseating) at Killarney (21f). Respected off an unchanged mark.

Very much a mixed bag since ending a lengthy losing run in handicap chase at Kilbeggan in July. Something to find at the weights, even if on a going day back chasing.

Seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train. Successful both handicap chase starts at Limerick/Killarney last year. Back on track third time up this season, jumping well/knuckling down to finish 1¾-length second (ahead of Kings Jet) at Killarney. Should be in the mix off 2 lb higher.

Underlined positive start for current stable when winning 11-runner 2½m handicap chase at Limerick in May. Hasn't fully fired in 3 starts since, however, did respond well to this change of headgear for previous yard. RESERVE

Staying type who won a handicap hurdle at Punchestown (23f, heavy). Stepped up on chasing debut when landing an extended 21f handicap at Tramore latest, doing well to get up after his saddle slipped approaching the last. Open to further progress, for all he faces another drop back in trip here.

No form over fences since Tipperary win in May 2025 and looks to have been held back by his temperament in recent starts.

Hasn't built on the minor promise of her fifth in a mares maiden chase at Killarney in May. Now tried in more severe headgear (fared little better for cheekpieces last time) in bid to capitalise on falling mark.

Veteran who won this corresponding event in 2024 (stablemate Gaelic des Chastys second). Looked to have matters in hand when unseating rider at Cork in January. Exited through no fault of his own at Galway 8 weeks ago. Should be competitive if none the worse for that.

Successful sole outing in points. Patchy record under Rules. Made more impact than previously over fences when 4 lengths second of 18 in handicap chase at Galway Festival latest, trading as low as 1.11 in running. No guarantee to be in the same form this time, though.

Won a 0-100 handicap chase in good style at Wexford in early-July. Let down by jumping at Galway before seeming to labour in testing ground at Wexford last time. Danny Gilligan keeps the faith (yard also saddle Nettuno Italia) and he could outrun his odds back under these conditions.

Opened her account in 16-runner handicap chase at Limerick (23f, heavy) back in March, though very nearly threw it away having hung badly left run-in. No impact either start since, latterly when supported at long odds on return. RESERVE

Capitalised on lower chase mark at Punchestown last October. Failed to justify market position 3 subsequent starts over fences and may have been done for the year when well beaten over hurdles in April. Needs a close look in the betting with Daniel King booked for return. Engaged 4.17 here Thursday.

Runner-up 3 times in maidens last year. Best effort this season when third on handicap/seasonal debut at Limerick in May. Looked in need of a greater stamina test when beaten 19 lengths at Kilbeggan (19f) and switch to fences could help (point winner earlier in his career).

Veteran who has gone backwards since his fair third in a veterans event on reappearance in May. Hard to be confident he's in the form to capitalise on falling mark here.
