Hold-up type. Proved a different proposition in first-time hood/tongue strap when finding plenty to land a 16-runner handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m) latest. Still interesting off 5 lb higher, especially if strong pace materialises.

Found improvement to open his account on return to handicap/longer trip at Sligo last time (21f), all out to hold on. That form has some substance but will need more again to follow up off his revised mark.

Off the mark on the Flat this summer. Going the right way over hurdles now, travelled well when pipped in a similar event at Navan (19f) last time. Should go well again off 3 lb higher.

Successful on second of 2 starts in points. Runner-up in pair of maiden hurdles this summer, latterly beaten 17 lengths off a quick turnaround at Kilbeggan (25f). Back down in trip for handicap bow and his opening mark demands a little bit more.

Lightly-raced 5-y-o. Improved back in calmer waters when beaten only by a well-backed favourite at Wexford (2½m) last time. Makes plenty of appeal in a race that should again be run to suit.

Hasn't come close to adding to his sole success in recent starts, finishing down the field in first-time cheekpieces at Roscommon (3m) latest.

Ridden more positively in first-time blinkers when beaten 6 lengths at Ballinrobe (2¾m) latest, possibly finding his stamina stretched. Back down in trip for only his third handicap start and still on a potentially handy mark given his Flat form.

Trailblazer who was successful over hurdles off only 1 lb higher at Galway (soft) last autumn. Hasn't been in much form over fences of late, though, a spent force by 2 out when well-held seventh of 16 in handicap chase at Ballinrobe (23f).

Off over 2 years since his much-improved second on handicap bow at Listowel (2¾m, soft). Entitled to need this.

Successful on the second of 2 starts in points. Looked to be being brought along steadily in maidens in 2023. Showed a bit when beaten 7¾ lengths on belated return/handicap bow at Ballinrobe (2¾m). Remains to be seen if he can build on that with tongue strap added. RESERVE

Low-mileage 5-y-o. Hit the frame in a Naas maiden/Gowran handicap last season. In good hands and weighted to go well on his return.

Maiden who placed off higher marks than this last season. Hasn't fired this season, the first-time hood he wore over fences last time quickly discarded. Not discounted if back on song.

Shaped with some encouragement at long odds in maidens. Saw out his race with more purpose with hood added at Ballinrobe last time, finishing 5½ lengths sixth of 16 (2¾m, 66/1). Still very early days in handicaps and worth noting if lining up. RESERVE

Turned in his best effort for nearly 2 years when 7¼ lengths behind Move It On Over at Sligo (21f), despite taking a strong hold. Will need to build on that to double his tally (1-39 under Rules).

Didn't show much when last seen under Rules for Patrick G. Kelly in December 2024. Won a point in February of this year and market can guide returning to Rules off much-reduced mark for new connections.

Low-mileage 7-y-o. Showed up fairly well before absence seemed to tell on reappearance last month. Tighter in the betting with tongue strap refitted but went backwards from that effort at Ballinrobe 2 weeks on. Headgear now removed. RESERVE

Off the mark on reappearance at Downpatrick in March before improving to finish second at Limerick (had subsequent winners behind on both occasions). Hasn't fired in 3 starts this season, easy to back at Ballinrobe (2m) latest. Worth noting if market speaks in his favour back up in trip.

Hit-and-miss maiden who made the frame in 2 handicaps for J. D. Motherway last season. Shaped as if in need of the run on stable debut at Clonmel in May. On a reasonable mark if ready to roll with Daniel King taking over.
