Improved in first-time cheekpieces when bagging 7f Doncaster handicap last October. Only twice-raced since but not disgraced with fourth of 14 in handicap over C&D in May. Needs to hit the ground running following an absence.

Sprung a 40/1 surprise in 7f Wolverhampton novice in April. Gelded and back in good form of late, aggressively ridden when fifth of 8 in handicap at Ascot (7f, good) 19 days ago. One to consider.

A 3-time all-weather winner (including here) in early summer. Posted another good effort with fourth of 7 in 1m handicap back here last time, conceding first run. Very much one to consider.

Ended long losing run at Newmarket (7f) in June. Back to form when fourth of 13 in handicap over C&D 19 days ago. Needs considering eased 1 lb.

A 3-time C&D winner, including in this event 12 months ago. In better form than recent form figures suggests, seeming stretched by longer trip when a fading sixth of 12 at Wolverhampton (8.5f) 16 days ago. Interesting now back at optimum distance.

Created a good impression when making a winning debut in 7f novice at Kempton in May. Clear of the rest when third in 7f Wetherby novice following month. Remains with potential now going handicapping after a break.

Without a win since debut when trained by Richard Hughes. Best effort for current yard this season when third in 7f handicap at Southwell in July. Gelded before not ideally placed when a close C&D fifth 17 days ago so not out of things.

Looked useful over 7f at Newcastle in the winter, winning on debut before finishing second under a penalty. Off 6 months (gelded) before coming in last of 9 on his handicap debut at Ripon (1m, soft) 23 days ago, however.

Made a winning start for new connections in 6f novice at Southwell in January. Advanced her form on handicap debut when third of 4 at Yarmouth (7f) in July but well held in similar event at York (7f, soft) last time.

Fair 6f scorer for Kevin Philippart De Foy last August. Below form in a pair of runs at Gowran (7f) and the Curragh (6f) for Denis Hogan last month. Has it to prove for another new yard.

Doubled his tally when landing 6f handicap at Lingfield in April for Jack Jones but has made very little impact in a pair of 7f handicaps for new yard at Doncaster and Newmarket since.

Stopped the slide when fourth of 12 at Newcastle (1m) in July for his new yard but has twice failed to build on it over C&D and at Haydock. Handily weighted if back on his A-game though and worth a market check for shrewd yard.
