Good looker as a juvenile, winning 3 of his 5 starts (all over 6f). Back on the up second start this year, chasing home a next-time-out winner at Meydan in January. Will need to improve on first start in open company, however, does benefit from return of Oisin Murphy (2-2).

Consistent sort who's won 4 times, latterly when tackling 7f for the first time at Newbury last month. Seemed to find the same test stretching him in the face of a stiffer finish at Ascot subsequently (beaten 3¾ lengths). Strongly-run 7f on this track likely to expose any chinks in his armour, too.

Doubled his tally in handicap at Meydan (1m) in January. Back to form in recent months, only bettered by an unexposed 3-y-o at Ascot and came home first in the disadvantaged group in big-field Newbury handicap last time. Similar performance may be enough to take this, with blinkers now refitted.

Front-running has brought the best out of him of late. Again able to dictate when completing a double at Sandown earlier this month. Fancied to go well up in grade, for all he may have to work a bit harder to get to the lead this time.

Had fallen a long way in the weights prior to rattling off a quick-fire double at Epsom (7f), winning in comfortable fashion there earlier this month. Hat-trick may evade him from out of the weights here, even with good-value claimer taking over.

Won a Group 3 at Kempton prior to finishing fourth in the Middle Park on last season. Standout effort of this year came when a close fourth in a listed race at Chester in July (best not judged on his latest run there). Appears to have plenty on his plate from his current mark.

Temperamental sort has gone close a couple of times for current connections, including on July Course (6f) last month. Arrives on the back of a lesser effort at Ascot and is 2 lb out of the handicap in his bid to snap a losing streak.

Proved as least as good as ever when scoring at Meydan (9f) over the winter. Backed that up with a third behind a now-smart one but has been off since finishing down the field there in March. Seemingly needs a career best to make a winning return.

Highly tried after landing the odds in 7f maiden at Southwell in March. Ran creditably in a 3-y-o handicap at Goodwood (form not working out as well as might have been expected) prior to failing to convince with his stamina at Chester (7.5f) last time. Needs to pull out more in first-time hood.

Revitalised by the refitting of a visor when winning over 5f on July Course here in July. Wasn't seen to best effect in a couple of starts prior to keeping on to finish 3¼ lengths third at this course (6f) last week. Weighted to be competitive and certainly worth a try over this extra furlong.

Landed an Epsom handicap under a typically positive ride on final start for George Boughey in July. Has found life tougher in higher grades for current connections (sent off at long odds all 3 starts) and a 2-lb reprieve may not be enough.
