Struck over C&D in May and having not been seen to best effect in the Ayr Bronze Cup last week, got back on the up with victory in 7f Haydock handicap on Friday. Blinkers tried if turned out again quickly.

Won lesser race over C&D earlier this month but only eleventh of 16 in handicap at Newbury 7 days ago, off a career-high mark and raised in class. More required in this company.

Useful sprinter at best and comes here not only having won the last 2 renewals of this contest, but also having bounced back to land a gamble in the Ayr Bronze Cup just last week. A 5 lb rise leaves him on the same mark he defied in this contest last year (good going) and he looks sure to go well.

Better known for 5f exploits but has run well at this trip 2 of last 3 outings, including when fifth of 23 at Ayr on heavy going last week so holds place claims if in same form.

Won over C&D in May in first-time cheekpieces and ran well when fourth at Goodwood in July. Out of depth when last of 8 over 5f in a listed race at Beverley in visor last time and should find this company more realistic with cheekpieces back on and returned to 6f.

Won at Thirsk in July to end a long losing run and has since been placed twice more, latterly third of 16 in a handicap at Windsor in August. Can remain competitive.

Won here over 5f last September and was second of 10 in a handicap over C&D 25 days ago behind Yes I'M Mali. Least exposed of these but more required upped in grade.

Back to best when won at Windsor in early August and not seen to best effect when tenth of 21 in a handicap at York under a penalty later that month, poorly drawn. Has a C&D win to his name so merits respect.

Gone the wrong way since scoring at Bahrain in January but his mark is now an interesting one and recent seventh of 23 at Ayr last week gave more encouragement so he's not one to discount with a couple of C&D wins to his name.

Better than ever this year, winning at Chester in June and twice running really well at the Curragh since, including when third of 24 13 days ago. Very interesting contender for a stable that also runs another strong candidate.

Won at Redcar before good second at York in June but has dipped below that form last 2 starts, though was in a better race for latter outing. Should stay.
