Strong-galloping type who chased home Old Park Star at Kempton prior to a promising fourth on testing ground in the William Hill at Newbury. Easy to overlook end-of-season novice defeat at Ludlow and with yard starting to hit form, he can make a bold bid for a third course victory on return.

Chased home a couple of fairly useful sorts in maidens before opening his hurdle account at Tramore on final start for Denis Hogan. Improved model on the Flat this summer, and no surprise if he advances his hurdles form on first start in this sphere for the excellent James Owen yard.

Useful sort who rattled off a hurdles hat-trick at northern tracks last winter. Finished mid-field in the Triumph before looking full value for his subsequent much-improved third in the Grade 1 Anniversary at Aintree. Very interesting returning in a handicap for yard whose hurdlers do well here.

Strong-travelling sort who had solid form behind Alexei/Tutti Quanti prior to his success in the Sussex Champion Hurdle at Plumpton (2m) in April. Set a strong pace/shaped best when 2¾-length second in Summer Hurdle last time. Capable of another big effort despite a 4-lb rise.

Fairly useful winner on the Flat prior to capitalising on a lenient hurdle mark in smooth style at Perth last time, the form not working out as well as might have been expected. Still on a handy mark for his capable yard, though perhaps not enough in hand to win a race this competitive.

Fairly useful on Flat. Notched first of 4 small-field victories over C&D in a progressive novice season. Emerged with credit when beaten 8¼ lengths in the Summer Hurdle. Trainer quick to blame the track for his latest effort at Chester and interesting that stable jockey prefers him to Squeezebox.

A credit to connections. Rallied to finish 7¾ lengths fourth in a typically competitive Summer Hurdle here in July. Return of headgear probably a catalyst for further improvement when landing Cartmel Cup last time. Now 35 lb higher than his breakthrough success and may find this a bridge too far.

Course novice winner who's proved more amenable this season. Followed his stylish reappearance success with a solid 6¼ lengths third in a briskly-run Summer Hurdle here. Didn't have the run of things at Perth last time and is weighted to go close in a race that should pan out more favourably.

In the early stages of his meteoric rise when successful in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Now off a 14 lb higher mark, though, and hasn't gone on at all from a satisfactory seasonal reappearance.

Best effort over hurdles when fourth in 2025 Dawn Run at Cheltenham Festival. Fall at Leopardstown in March seemingly derailed her progress over fences for Willie Mullins this year. On a reasonable mark for her handicap hurdle debut, provided she's back on song for capable new handler.

Quirky sort landed a fourth victory at this track in a Class 4 handicap (23f) last summer. Hasn't gone on from a positive start to this season, taking little interest in a first-time tongue strap at Cartmel (2¾m) last time. Out of the weights and drop back to 2m unlikely to help his cause, either.
