Progressive handicapper for William Haggas last autumn. Showed bundles of potential in a couple of hurdle starts prior to running a cracker when 1-length fourth in a Premier Handicap at Leopardstown on return. In excellent hands for first tilt at 2m on the Flat and likely has a valuable pot in him.

Bred for jumps but has proved remarkably versatile regards ground trip. Added to his bumper/1½m maiden wins when successful in a 1m conditions event at Listowel in May. Travelled as well as any when well-backed third over significantly further in Ascot Stakes (2½m) latest. Can go well again.

Fairly useful hurdle winner (2m, heavy). Runner-up in top-end handicap at Galway before gamely going one better in a similar event at Leopardstown (13f). No easy task to defy a 7-lb penalty in a race this competitive and into uncharted territory over this far on the Flat.

Useful juvenile who's developed into a smart performer this year. Suited by well-run race when narrowly denied in handicap at Naas (11f). Certainly bred for longer trips (half-brother to Park Hill winner) and very interesting contender for stable who've won this with 3-y-os in recent years.

Admirable dual-purpose performer who finished eighth in the Melbourne Cup when last seen on the Flat. Subsequent 3 runs over hurdles were miles from his best (possibly feeling the effects of his globetrotting). Feasibly treated if back on song following 4 months away.

Smooth traveller who posted a career-best Flat success at Leopardstown (1½m) on second start for present yard last autumn. Ended novice hurdle season with cracking second Grade 1 Champion Novice at Punchestown in April. Good record fresh and could be very interesting if he stays this longer trip.

Ground-versatile stayer. Things fell right when landing Chester Cup in May. Didn't last out the marathon distance under a typically positive ride in Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot subsequently. Should fare better back down in trip, while probably needing a career best to land another big prize.

Smooth-travelling mare who's been lightly raced since 2024. Looked as good as ever when successful in Amateur Riders Derby here (1½m) last October. Didn't get the gaps on return at Galway (2m) and type who'll be ridden to pick up the pieces late here.

2025 Fred Winter winner who was successful in the 2025 renewal of this race off 9 lb lower mark. Had excuses for several starts across both codes since, though ran no sort of race without obvious reason in Galway Hurdle latest. Reunites with last year's winning rider (1-1).

Borderline smart performer who hit the frame in the Ascot Stakes/Chester Cup last season. Finished third in an Irish St Leger Trial prior to running as well as could be expected when well-held fifth in the main event here (1¾m, 100/1) last time. Could well make more impact back in a handicap.

Hasn't stood much racing since his victory in 2024 Queen Alexandra at Ascot. Didn't build on the promise of his comeback run at Galway (1¾m) last time. Will likely need to be back to his very best to defy his mark in a race this competitive, for all he'll relish the greater stamina test here.

Shaped well when sixth to Comfort Zone in 2m Galway handicap in July. Again ran well when close third to Immutable at Leopardstown (13f) latest. Contrasting conditions will hold no fears and while weighted to be competitive, he'll need to settle better back up in trip. RESERVE

Low-mileage 5-y-o. Winner of a Roscommon maiden (1½m) on debut last summer. Useful form to finish runner-up on each of his 3 subsequent outings for Paddy Twomey. Shaped well returning over much shorter when sixth on stable debut here (1¼m) latest. Another completely unexposed over this sort of trip.

Low-mileage 5-y-o who returned with a cosy win at Gowran. Back on the up when runner-up in a useful handicap at Killarney (14.5f). Could well be more to come with cheekpieces added back up in trip, and looks one of the stable's better fancied runners on jockey bookings.

Finished well when 7½ lengths behind his stablemate in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Ran well when beaten 2 lengths in a very condensed finish at Leopardstown (13f, good to firm) latest. Tried in another change of headgear and will at least be suited by this stiffer test of stamina.

Sole Flat success came in a Leopardstown maiden in 2024. Has acquitted herself with plenty of credit in ultra-competitive staying handicaps this season. Arrives on the back of a creditable 2-length third in 1½ listed event at Galway and stiffer test certainly no harm for this versatile mare.

Sole British raider. Completed a double in stylish fashion on return at Hamilton (13f). Better than he could show when sixth in Copper Horse at Royal Ascot (1¾m) and again asked to come from a long way back when a non-stayer at Goodwood (2½m). Has potential but softer ground would be an unknown.
