A fairly useful 6f/7f performer for A. De Mieulle in Qatar early in 2025. Made light of a 17-month absence for new yard with success in 18-runner handicap at Thirsk 22 days ago. Saddles a 5 lb penalty but runner-up has gone in since and a likely player here with few miles still on the clock.

Ended a long losing sequence at Newmarket (6f) in August and followed up in 13-runner handicap at Ascot (6f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. This demands more but not taken lightly under a 5 lb penalty in his current mood.

Listed winner when trained in France. Got off the mark for current yard at Goodwood (6f, soft) in June and shaped well when tenth of 24 in handicap at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) 6 days ago, still on bridle 1f out but unable to get through in time. Interesting with Oisin Murphy now up.

Enjoyed a fine 2025 when a dual winner and also runner-up in Gold Cup here. Right back on track following a breathing operation this summer, coming in a close sixth of 21 in Portland at Doncaster (5.5f, good) week ago. Primed for a bold showing.

Rejuvenated by fitting of cheekpieces and notched a third success of 2026 at Beverley (5f, heavy) in August. Posted another very good effort when second of 9 at Haydock (5f, soft) 2 weeks ago. Goes really well on soft ground so another bold showing is on the cards.

Boasts excellent Chester record with 3 course wins and finished good second there in July. Not seen to best effect at York and back at Chester last 2 runs. Can't be totally dismissed.

Useful as a juvenile but without a win since debut and has found things tough in 4 outings this year, gelded before finishing in midfield in Portland at Doncaster (5.5f, good) a week ago.

Won twice on the all-weather for current yard without matching the best of his juvenile form (for Karl Burke). Good fourth of 10 in handicap at Goodwood (6f, soft) last time but this is tougher.

Sole success came in 5f Southwell novice in 2025 but took his form up a level when runner-up in 5f handicaps at Southwell and Newmarket in July. Not been seen to best effect from poor draws at Goodwood twice subsequently. Figures on a handy mark and not without interest in first-time blinkers.

Without a win since last spring (last 3 wins on all-weather) but returned to form on the back of a breathing operation when second at Chester in June. Not best drawn when seventh at Thirsk (6f, good) last time so possibilities.

It's now thirty runs since his last win in 2023 and only eighth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (7f, soft) 2 weeks ago. Visor goes on for the first time with plenty more needed.

Successful on return/stable debut at Pontefract in April and has made up into a reliable sprint handicapper typical of the yard, finishing in the frame 4 times since. Below-par effort over 7f at Ascot last time but is the type to bounce back.

Scored at Southwell in April and also bagged 21-runner handicap at York (6f) in June. Not disgraced off a career-high mark with third of 9 at Thirsk (6f, good to soft) 2 weeks ago. No forlorn hope.

Likeable type who returned to best when winning at York (6f) in May and doubled his tally for the season at Ripon (6f) in August. Solid third in Great St Wilfrid there since and poorly drawn when eleventh at Thirsk (6f, good) last time. Not out of things.

Winner of 4 6f/7f handicaps at Southwell early this season but has found life tough contesting listed events since.

Dual 6f winner for Ed Bethell in 2025. Lightly raced for current yard and in good form first 2 runs at Newcastle before being poorly drawn at York (6f, good to soft) when last seen out in May. This is no easy return but he has won off a break.
